Recovery Stories

Honest recovery. A reason to hope.

About Recovery Stories

Recovery Stories is a private production channel for honest recovery journeys—real voices, careful handling, and a reason to hope. We produce finished stories for the Recovery Stories channel; we are not Alcoholics Anonymous and do not speak for AA.

What you can send

You can upload a recording, or a written/transcribed copy of your story (PDF or TXT). Recordings: wav, mp3, m4a, mp4, and mov. If you already have your story written or transcribed, you do not need to upload a recording. Scanned or image-only PDFs may not be readable without OCR.

What happens after you submit

  1. We receive your materials and keep them private.
  2. We prepare your story for production review.
  3. We may ask clarifying questions or request additional permissions.
  4. A producer reviews before anything moves forward.

Submitting is not publishing. Nothing becomes public without a separate, explicit human decision later.

Privacy

Your recordings and details stay private while we work. Further questions or permissions may be required before production continues. You choose what you share.
